Delete account
How to delete your LifeButler account (app by CodeWorx UG) and the data that belongs to it.
In the app
Settings → Your data → Delete account, then confirm with the word shown. Deletion happens immediately.
Without the app
Send an email from your Google account's address to [email protected] with the subject “Delete account”. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm it to you.
Deleting individual data without deleting the account
You can delete anything you entered in LifeButler individually in the app at any time – your account stays:
- Items (lists, tasks, appointments, notes, expenses, contracts, bills, things, birthdays): open the item → Delete.
- Documents: open the document → bin icon. The file and its AI analysis are deleted.
- Family profiles and health information: open the profile → remove the information or delete the profile.
- Vault entries: open them in the family vault → Delete.
- AI search data: admins switch off the AI features in the group settings – the group's search vectors are then deleted.
- Google Calendar and Google Drive connections: Settings → Google Calendar or Google Drive → switch off or disconnect. Stored access is deleted or revoked.
- A group: leave it (members) or delete it as the owner (group settings).
Deleted data is removed from the app and the database immediately. We keep Google Play purchase records for up to 10 years for tax reasons. You can also request deletion by email to [email protected].
What is deleted
- your profile and settings
- your personal space (“Just me”) with all its content and documents
- groups you own that have no other members
- your membership in all other groups
- the connection to Google Drive (access is revoked)
What stays
- Items you created in shared groups (e.g. appointments, lists, documents) belong to the group and stay available to its other members.
- If you own a group with other members, transfer the ownership first or delete the group.
- Copies in your own Google Calendar or Google Drive live in your Google account; you can delete them there yourself.
