1. Controller

The controller is the provider named in the imprint. Contact: [email protected].

2. This website

This website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics. Fonts are served locally; no third-party content is loaded.

When you visit, our server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser) in log files to deliver the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest. The site is delivered via Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); the server is located in Germany.

3. The LifeButler app

We process the data you and your group members enter (lists, appointments, tasks, expenses, profiles) to provide the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Sign-in uses Google. Data is stored with Google Cloud / Firebase in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Health information is only processed if you enter it yourself (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR). Vault contents are end-to-end encrypted on your device; we cannot read them.

Documents you upload or scan are stored in Google Cloud Storage (Frankfurt, Germany) and are only accessible to the adults of your group. If a group's admins turn on AI analysis, each new document is sent to Anthropic PBC (USA) for analysis; Anthropic processes it as a processor under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and does not use it for training. The result is suggestions (e.g. amount, IBAN, deadlines) that are only saved once you confirm them. When a member asks the “butler” a question, the question and the group data that member may see (e.g. appointments, tasks, lists, and for adults also bills and contracts) are sent to Anthropic in the same way to answer it. Vault contents are never sent to any AI.

If you turn on Google Calendar sync, the app creates its own calendar in your Google account and copies the group's appointments there; it cannot access your other calendars. If you turn on school & public holidays, the app loads them directly from the OpenHolidays API (openholidaysapi.org). Only the country, state/canton and date range (plus, technically, your IP address) are sent – no content and no account data.
